Nashville Bound

This weekend we went to North Augusta to see Laura and Mason and to celebrate my birthday. Ben and I signed up for a 5k, for Saturday morning, which of course the forecast was severe thunderstorms ALL day. Despite the rain, Ben and I had new PR's as well as great support. My father-in-law came down there and watched us, even though it was raining!! We can't thank him enough; it's so nice to see a familiar face at the end of a race. Also, thanks to my mother-in-law and Laura who kept our two crazy girls and Mason so we could go run. The weather actually stopped right before the race and the rest of the day ended up not being too bad.

After the race, we came back and made the dessert I posted a few days before, the one with the cookie dough, peanut butter cups, etc... and it was wonderful. The best part was getting to make it, especially since ME, G, and Ben were asleep so I got to clean the bowl. Since we knew these was our dessert for later, all the girls and Mason went for a 3-3.5 mile walk on the Greenway.

Later that evening, after having more babies come over to visit, we had the best dinner and I got to open my presents. My in-laws gave me the BEST birthday present ever, Kenny Chesney tickets. I couldn't actually show how excited I was without embarrassing myself. Not only are we going to the concert, we get to go to NASHVILLE!!! I love Nashville, and we also get to spend time with Cirbey. And they have already said they were going to babysit...the countdown is on. Normally on my calendar at work I write everything is pencil...well I got a little excited.

 And then I had to post the tickets again...just because I LOVE to look at them. Isn't that the best picture you have EVER seen!!!
