This weekend we had a "Sip and See" for Laura, my sister-in-law, and baby Mason. My mom got me some "Cake Pop Pans" for my birthday. I thought I would try them out for the party (more pictures to come from this weekend tomorrow). So I looked and looked online to try to get some ideas, I ended up using brownie mix rather than cake mix. They didn't look beautiful, but the kids loved them and they were easy to eat.
Here is what the pans look like. Each pan came with the sticks for the "pops". Note the cover and what they are suppose to look like! Hehe!
I added these pictures...this would be Grayson and ME trying to help me with another dessert. This is about the time they started putting there entire hand in the peanut butter jar.
Back to the cake pops, so this is what they look like inside. I poured the brownie mix into one half of the pan and then put the other part on top. They came with little locks on each side to make sure the pans stay together.
Here they are after they were cooked, perfect little brownie balls.
ME, Ms. Riddle, and Ben all helped me put the final touches on the "pops". We used white chocolate and sprinkles.
Here is how they turned out. The sprinkles really hide our mess ups, but I still think they turned out cute and they tasted good, which is what really matters.
Here are two pics of some of the other stuff we made. There was a whole other table of more food.
