Heart and Sole

The past few weeks I have been focusing on one race. I have done this race for several years; one year when I was very pregnant with ME, my friends and I walked it. The race is called Heart and Sole, and is a 5 mile race only for women. The atmosphere is just amazing; it’s just crazy to see sooo many women running for heart disease. I actually went back and looked over the past few years and what my times have been.

I was very pleased with my results, a faster time and moved into the top three. It was also so rewarding to have my team mates do well. There were several PR’s and smiling faces!!

Ben's parents came up to visit us, so there are actually pictures!!

After the race we went back to our house and hung out with Ben’s parents. The rain finally cleared and we were able to have a picnic outside. The girls were in heaven spending time with Ben’s parents. Saturday afternoon we went Strawberry picking with Theresa and Calvin. Of course it started raining a little bit, but the girls didn’t mind.

Sunday it rained and it rained. What do you do with two wild children when it rains…Edventure!!!

 ME actually did this all on her own...I didn't even tell her to pose like this! Silly ME!

 On the way home, I randomly saw the Jelly Belly truck, so of course we stopped. Turns out there is a new candy store in town, right near where and old candy store used to be that my friends and I would always go to.

While we were playing, Ben was home doing manly things...cooking bbq!!!
