So I found all my favorite desserts in ONE!!!

Ultimate Pretzel Crusted Peanut Butter Cookie Candy Brownie Bars"

  • 2 ½ cups crushed butter pretzels
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix and all the ingredients the mix calls for
  • Brownie Mix (13×9 family size box + all the ingredients the mix calls for)
  • Snack Size Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (2 – 10.5oz bags)
1.  Crush the pretzels in a food processor or however you like to crush pretzels. Any kind of pretzels will do but I recommend using crushed butter pretzels (you find them next to the regular pretzels and they are literally called “Synder Butter Pretzels”) for the recipe. I also recommend not crushing the pretzels to dust but keep some small pieces to keep the crust crunchy. Mix the melted butter (melt in microwave), sugar and pretzel crumbs. Press into lightly greased 13×9 pan. Set aside pretzel crust and make the cookie dough. (*Note: I have a 8×8 pan in the photos because I split the recipe into two different pans. I recommend putting it all in one 13×9 pan!)
2. Make the cookie dough according to the package. Lightly press the cookie dough evenly on top of the pretzel crust.
3. Unwrap 32 snack-size Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and cover the cookie dough with the candy.
4. Whip up your brownie mix and pour evenly over the Peanut Butter Cups.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
6. Cool for 10 minutes and then enjoy!

I think I just drooled ALL over my desk!!!!

Clean House

Last night we had company coming over and we have more company tonight, so I thought I would be able to swiffer and vacuum and that would be an easy task. Boy was I wrong. I didn’t really get a good picture, but I went to get the swiffer pads and I turned around and ME is vacuuming Grayson. Grayson has the swiffer in one hand and goldfish in the other. Of course Grayson starts crying as soon as I look at her. I don't know how clean the floor got, but it sure was funny!!!

I guess this is what we will be telling our guest tonight. At least they have two girls tooooo and know it's super hard to keep the house clean!!!

Weekend Review

We traveled to North Augusta this past weekend for the Augusta Half Marathon which was on Sunday. The girls had a full weekend and playing and keeping busy. Ms. Riddle and I took the girls to Target Saturday morning and spend about an hour looking for ME and Grayson some shoes. ME wanted no part in shoes, which if she doesn't like them at the store means she will NOT wear them. Finally we found some tennis shoes for both of them, of course with sparkles! While Grayson took a nap, Ben and I took ME with us to pick up our packets and get stuff for the race. When Grayson woke up Ms. Riddle and I took the girls to the park, feed the ducks, and walked along the river front. We were looking for a bakery and ended up at the Fresh Market, where we got some petite fours and a huge peanut butter cupcake that ME picked out. We headed home to fix our pasta dinner so we would be ready for the race.

This was the first time Ben and I did the same race, which was really cool! We had a great time at the race. Despite the SUPER hilly course and headwind Ben and I both had PR's. I ran a :127:30 and Ben ran a 1:51. My best time before this weekend was 1:29:06, so I'm very pleased!! Ben had a good time, especially since this was his first half. I think I can talk him in to doing some more, maybe in another week or so! :) We have the best support team. My in-laws couldn't have been any more supportive. They were there cheering and taking care of the girls for us. It was so nice to see the girls at the finish, nothing makes me smile more. We are just so thankful to have a family that loves to come watch us and gets excited for us. Not to mention being there all morning, get up early, getting ready, getting the girls ready, parking, getting to the girls down there, etc. I could just go on and on about how great they are!!! Here are some pictures they took from the race this weekend.

Dance Class

(See if you can find my wild child in this picture!!!!)

Because it's EASY...

One of my co-workers was telling me about this at work one day, so I thought we would try it out. It's made by Kraft and they had four different flavors, Ben and I tried this one.

You can use either chicken, pork, or fish. Since chicken was like $9, we went with the pork.

The only thing you have to do to the pork it put a little bit of water on both sides, we used olive oil. Then when you open the package the cheese is on one side and the bread crumbs/species are on the other side. Once the package is opened you can mix the two sides together.

After that all we did was put one pork chop in at a time.

We only did 4, but there was plenty left over to do more than that. I didn't want any to go to waste, so I put alittle more on each one.

I thought they turned out good and it was super EASY!!! I do think the flavor we got would have been better on chicken. We also had green beans and yellow rice along with it, which made for a well-balanced meal.
