I have been so stressed over anything and everything lately...maybe I need to run like Phoebe and that will relieve all my stress.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is all about eating and enjoying time with friends and family. Well we did that and more. We had a scare over the break and Ms. Riddle actually ended up in the hospital. Not going to go into details, but she is doing better now and we are thankful that she is doing better and things could of been a lot worse.
Over Thanksgiving, we tried to do normal traditions that we do each year. Thursday we got up and were all running around like crazy trying to finish all the cooking that needed to be done. Of course I had the keep the girls occupied, so my grandmother brought us some HUGE pinecones, so I thought it would be fun to decorate them. ME picked out the eyes...so the kindof look like owls, but that's okay.
For Thanksgiving we went to Ben's Aunt Mari's house. The girls love Aunt Mari and kept saying all morning, "I just want to go to Mari's". We ate some, drank some, and hung out with family. Mr. Riddle took Mrs. Riddle to the hospital after we ate so we took the girls home to get them settled down.
I went to bed early and ended up getting up at 11:00 pm to go shopping. I went to Toys R Us and got all the girls shopping done. I had to wait in line for over an hour, but it was totally worth it. I went to Walmart, Belk, Old Navy, Target, etc and was back in bed around 4:00 am. I just love shopping and more importantly I love shopping without two little ones grabbing everything.
Friday morning, we got up and went and visited Mrs. Riddle in the hospital. After the hospital we went to get our tree, which is something we have done for several years now. The pictures aren't that great, since the Riddles weren't with us.
I just love the big baby!!! The rest of the weekend was followed by cleaning, helping the Riddles, putting up both trees, and of course watching the Gamecocks win against Clemson for the 3rd year in a row. Overall, not the best Thanksgiving, especially without the whole family being there but at least we had some extra days to spend with the girls.

These next few pictures were taken in 2011...crazy the height difference in both the girls.

Mountain Weekend
Ever since high school we have been going up to the Watson’s mountain house which is in Waynesville, North Carolina. Every year we reminisce over the past years, and every year we add more memories. We all love spending time with each other and laughing until we can’t breathe. This year we walked around Lake Junluska, eat lunch downtown, walked around the little shops, played numerous card games, took a hike, ate junk food, and just enjoyed spending time with each other.

Kenny, George, or Taylor
Unless we win the lottery between now and May, I will be forced to pick between the three following concerts: Kenny Chesney, George Strait, or Taylor Swift.
Now the obvious choice would be Kenny. But when I think about it the only cd’s I ever buy are these three, with Zac Brown Band throw in the mix. If I choose Kenny Chesney, I would get the bonus of seeing the Zac Brown Band and Ben really likes them.
But there are positives and negatives for all three. Kenny I have seen over and over and don’t even want to admit how many times, but his concerts never get old and each one gets better and better. I have seen George Strait before, but it’s been several years. He isn’t coming to Columbia, but Greenville, so that’s the negative. In order for us to go we would have to drive there, spend the night, and find babysitters for the girls over night. The positive is that it’s his LAST tour and I won’t get another chance to see him. Taylor Swift on the other hand is coming to Columbia the very next day after George plays in Greenville. I would love to see her in concert, but I would have to talk one of my friends into going with me and we would be amongst every teenybopper in Columbia.
Soooo will we be at George Strait in Greenville on March 22, Columbia for Taylor Swift on March 23, or Kenny Chesney in Columbia on May 4….guess you’ll have to wait and see.

Governor's Cup
This weekend I did the Governor’s Cup Half Marathon. Up until Wednesday I really thought about switching to the 8k, but I didn’t want to “punk out” and do the shorter of the two races. I wanted to see what my time was right now and the do the Augusta Half Marathon in February. One of the guys I run with in the mornings told me he wanted to do around a 6:40 pace for the race and wanted me to run with him. So Wednesday after our run I signed up for the half.
Saturday morning came around and the weather was great and I was actually feeling really good. Steven and I started and were joined by another fellow runner, Larry. The three of us stayed together the whole time, until the end. I felt great the whole time and Ben, the girls, and my parents came to watch and cheer me on. They ended up standing at what I call, “the make it or break it” point. It is between mile 8 and 9 and there is this really long hill after a route through a neighborhood. I knew once I got up the hill I would be good until the end. Overall I finished third with a time of 1:28, which I was pleased with.
Course unlike some of the other runners, I don't get to come home and just relax. The girls and I headed to Edventure for the rest of the afternoon. They had several new exhibits, and this weekend they were having Farmville. The other new exhibits included a vet and doctor part, which both of the girls really enjoyed.
